Question about Pets
When i have charmed an animal and it dies, will it be resurrected when I leave the area or do I have to resurrect it via skill?

You have to have your comfort animal skill equipped and ressurect it.

Huh? That's wrong. When you switch zones, pets will auto-rez. They don't auto-rez on cutscenes, though.

taion is correct. Pets work like party members... one member of party walks through a portal everyone goes including pets.

How exactly do you get rid of a pet, then, other than giving it to one of those weird 'animal collectors'?

Yes, it is really annoying not to be able to free your pet, especially if you happen to see something you want to charm, but instead have to go back to find the animal tamer, give yours up and then go looking for the new one again. Especially bad in pre searing, as the guy isn't even near a map point, so you have to walk over to him to change pets.

Hmm, that's a bit awkward. After seeing a list of all the tameable animals available, I don't think I will want to change my pet in the near future. But still, maybe that's something the developers should consider adding in a patch? Agh, probably not.

Where is this list of tameable pets. I have not yet found one, after searching the forums exhaustively. Can someone help?

As I quote Johnny Bravo here:
